Configure and Customize Dell PowerFlex v3.6.x
Modify SDC-MDM communication parameters on SDCs
When MDM IP addresses have been added or changed, use the vSphere PowerFlex plug-in to update the SDCs with system parameters that are needed to ensure continued SDC-MDM communication.
Steps
- From the PowerFlex plug-in Advanced tasks menu, click Update SDC parameters, and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.

Ensure that the parameters were updated on the SDC by running this command on each ESXi host:
cat /etc/vmware/esx.conf |grep scini|grep -i mdm
