Change the PowerFlex Gateway's keystore password

Change the password of the PowerFlex Gateway's keystore using a command line procedure.

1. In command line, log in to the node hosting the PowerFlex Gateway.
2. Change directories using the command:

   cd /opt/emc/scaleio/gateway/conf/

3. Using a text editor, edit the file /opt/emc/scaleio/gateway/conf/Catalina.properties:
   1. Find the variable keystore.password= and make a note of the existing value (the old password).
   2. Replace the old password for keystore.password= with the new password, and save the file.
      For example, change the existing value, keystore.password=EciVSUMaWlx2LoqthbbL2vgIVXIKFM, to keystore.password=AS34op56!.
4. In command line, run the following command, using the old and new passwords mentioned in the previous step:

   keytool -storepasswd -keystore ./certificates/.keystore -storepass <OLD_PASSWORD> -new <NEW_PASSWORD>

   For example:

   keytool -storepasswd -keystore ./certificates/.keystore -storepass EciVSUMaWlx2LoqthbbL2vgIVXIKFM -new AS34op56!

5. Run the following command, using the old and new passwords mentioned in the previous steps:

   keytool -keypasswd -alias scaleio -keystore ./certificates/.keystore -keypass <OLD_PASSWORD> -new <NEW_PASSWORD>

   When you are prompted to enter the keystore password, enter the new password.
   For example:

   keytool -keypasswd -alias scaleio -keystore ./certificates/.keystore -keypass EciVSUMaWlx2LoqthbbL2vgIVXIKFM -new AS34op56!

6. To apply the changes, restart the PowerFlex Gateway service, using the following command:

   /etc/init.d/scaleio-gateway restart

7. Point your browser to the URL of the PowerFlex Installer, and verify that the PowerFlex Installer loads as expected.
