Abort protected maintenance mode

During maintenance mode, an alert is generated when there is insufficient capacity to continue running protected maintenance mode.

About this task

The following steps describe how to abort a Fault Set from entering maintenance mode when enter maintenance mode hasn't finished.

Steps

  1. From the PowerFlex GUI, in the left pane, click Configuration > Fault Sets.
  2. In the right pane, select the relevant Fault Set check box and click More > Abort Enter Protected Maintenance Mode.
  3. In the Abort Enter Maintenance Mode dialog box, click Abort.
  4. Verify that the operation completed successfully and click Dismiss.

Results

When the workload on the system is decreased, protected maintenance mode may be resumed.
