PowerFlex Manager supports VMware ESXi 8.0 and VMware vCenter 8.0. VMware vCenter 8.0 supports the deployment of VMware hyperconverged infrastructure or managed compute nodes with VMware ESXi 8.0 and service operation. VMware 8.0 support is equivalent to the current support for VMware ESXi 7.x.

Upgrade from VMware ESXi 7.x to VMware ESXi 8.x by performing a non-disruptive update operation on existing deployments. Install VMware ESXi 8.x on new deployments of PowerFlex.

Upload complete VMware ESXi software bundles

Upload the entire VMware ESXi software bundle in a ZIP format, from a local drive or a network location. On completion of the node discovery activity, the BIOS configuration is implemented using iDRAC.
