Co-resident software management model

PowerFlex Manager supports co-residency where it can be deployed on PowerFlex storage-only nodes.

Co-resident deployment deploys the PowerFlex management platform onto the boot device of three PowerFlex storage nodes where the PowerFlex Manager and PowerFlex storage co-reside on the same node. For more information, see Dell PowerFlex 4.6.x Install and Upgrade Guide.

​In this management option, PowerFlex Manager manages only the containers and PowerFlex as illustrated in the diagram below:
