Installing the PCIe Solid State Drive SSD

NOTE: The PCIe SSD card is shipped with the following components:
  1. PCIe SSD card
  2. Thermal Pad
  3. Screw
  1. Follow the procedure in Before Working Inside Your Computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. cover
    2. hard drive
    3. optical drive
  3. Peel the blue adhesive tape from the thermal pad.

  4. Place the thermal pad in the slot on the system board and peel the pink adhesive tape [1,2].

  5. Slide the PCIe SSD card into the slot and tighten the screw to secure the card to the system board [1,2].
