Removing the system cover
- Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
The following images indicate the location of the system cover and provide a visual representation of the removal procedure.
- Using a 1/4-inch flat head or a Phillips #2 screwdriver, rotate the lock counterclockwise to the unlock position.
- Lift the release latch until the system cover slides back.
- Lift to remove the system cover from the computer.
