Removing the control panel

Prerequisites

1. Ensure that you read the Safety instructions.
2. Follow the procedure listed in Before working inside your system.

CAUTION:Many repairs may only be done by a certified service technician. Damage due to servicing that is not authorized by Dell is not covered by your warranty. Read and follow the safety instructions that came with the product.

6. vFlash media connector cable

1. Locate and press the tabs on the information tag.
2. Push the information tag out of the slot to remove it from the control panel.
   NOTE:Retain the information tag for replacement in the new control panel.

3. Remove the retaining screw that secures the control panel to the chassis.
4. Push the control panel out of the chassis.
5. Slide the control panel into the chassis and tighten the screw.
