Removing the coin cell battery

  1. Follow the procedures in Before working inside your computer .
  2. Remove the:
    1. battery cover

    2. battery

    3. base cover

  3. Perform the following steps to remove the coin cell battery:
    1. Disconnect the coin cell battery cable.
    2. Pry the coin cell battery upward and remove it from the computer.
