Installing the Thunderbolt PCIe card
Prerequisites
About this task
The following images indicate the location of the Thunderbolt PCIe card and provide a visual representation of the installation procedure.
Steps
- Align the Thunderbolt PCIe card with the expansion-card slot on the system board.
- Using the alignment post, connect the Thunderbolt PCIe card to the connector and press down firmly. Ensure that the Thunderbolt PCIe card is firmly seated.
- Route the Thunderbolt PCIe through the routing guide on the chassis.
- Connect the Thunderbolt PCIe cable to the connector on the system board.
- Close the PCIe door, locking it into position.
