Installing the rear-fan assembly
Prerequisites
About this task
The following images indicate the location of the rear-fan assembly and provide a visual representation of the installation procedure.
Steps
- Align the tabs on the fan assembly with the slots on the chassis.
- Insert the fan assembly at an angle into the slot in the chassis.
- Install the two (#6-32) screws to secure the fan assembly to the chassis.
- Connect the fan cable to the connector on the system board.
