Installing the top fan
Prerequisites
About this task
The following images indicate the location of the top fan and provides a visual representation of the installation procedure.
Steps
- Align the holes in the fan case with the rubber guides on the fan bracket.
- Slide and replace the fan along with the bracket into its slot in the chassis.
- Replace the single screw (#6-32) to secure the fan bracket to the chassis.
- Connect the fan cable to the system board.
