Removing the coin cell battery

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the cover.
  3. Open the PSU hinge.
  4. To remove the coin cell battery:
    1. Press the release latch until the coin cell battery pops out [1].
    2. Remove the coin cell battery from the connector on the system board [2].
