Removing VR heatsink

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. Cover
    2. Graphics card
    3. SSD
    4. Heatsink assembly
  3. Open the PSU hinge.
  4. Loosen the captive screws that secure the VR heatsink to the system board [1].
  5. Lift the VR heatsink from the system board [2].
