Installing the internal antenna—location 2
Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
About this task
The following image indicates the location of the Internal antenna and provides a visual representation of the installation procedure.
Steps
- Remove adhesive tape and place the Aux antenna stand off into the hole on the chassis.
- Align the antenna module screw hole with the screw hole on the chassis.
- Replace the single screw (M3x3) to secure the internal antennae to the chassis.
- Route the antenna cable through the metallic routing guide on the computer.
