Installing the palm-rest assembly

If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.

Place the palm-rest assembly on a flat surface.

- Install the power button with fingerprint reader.
- Install the WLAN antennas.
- Install the speakers.
- Install the system board.
- Install the GPU card or dummy GPU card.
- Install the smart-card reader for systems shipped with a smart-card reader.
- Install the heatsink.
- Install the right fan.
- Install the left fan.
- Install the display assembly.
- Install the Battery.
- Install the VPU card, for systems shipped with a VPU card.
