Removing the power daughter-board

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. SD card
    2. base cover
    3. battery
    4. hard drive
    5. keyboard
    6. palmrest
  3. To disconnect the power daughter-board:
    1. Disconnect the power connector cable from the connector on the power daughter-board.
      Disconnecting the cables for system board removal
    2. Remove the 3 (M2.0x3.0) screws that secure the power daughter-board to the system board [1].
    3. Carefully lift the power daughter-board away from the system board to disconnect it from the connector on the system board [2].
