Removing the power connector port

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. SD card
    2. base cover
    3. battery
  3. To remove power connector port:
    1. Disconnect the power connector cable from the connector on the system board [1].
    2. Peel the adhesive tape that secures the power connector cable to the system and unroute the cable [2, 3].

    3. Remove the single (M2.0x5.0) screw that secures the power connector cable metal bracket to the system [1].
    4. Remove the metal bracket away from the system [2].
    5. Lift the power connector port from the system [3].
