Removing the Palm rest Assembly

Steps

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. base cover
    2. battery
    3. WLAN card
    4. hard drive
    5. fans
    6. speakers
    7. heatsink assembly
    8. memory modules
    9. system board
    10. display assembly
    11. power connector port
    12. keyboard
  3. After performing the above steps, we are left with the palm rest assembly.
