Removing Audio board

Steps

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. base cover
    2. battery
    3. WLAN card
    4. hard drive
    5. fans
    6. heatsink assembly
    7. memory modules
    8. system board
  3. Perform the following steps to remove the audio board:
    1. Turn the system board over.
    2. Remove the M2x3 (2) screws that secure the audio board to the system board [1].
    3. Lift up the audio board [2].
