Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation process.
About this task
The following images indicate the location of the keyboard and provide a visual representation of the installation procedure.

Steps
Align and place the keyboard on the keyboard bracket.
Replace the ten screws (M2x2) to secure the keyboard to the keyboard bracket.
Turn the keyboard bracket over.
Align and place the keyboard bracket on the palm-rest assembly.
Replace the twenty one screws (M2x2) that secure the keyboard bracket to the palm-rest assembly.
Connect the keyboard-backlight cable to the connector on the touchpad and close the latch to secure the cable.
Connect the keyboard cable to the connector on the touchpad and close the latch to secure the cable.
