Removing the memory module

Prerequisites

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the SIM card.
  3. Remove the microSD card.
  4. Remove the base cover.

About this task

NOTE Precision 3561 supports two memory slots.

Steps

  1. Pry the retention clips securing the memory module until the memory module pops-up.
  2. Remove the memory module from the memory-module slot.
    NOTE Repeat step 1 to step 2 to remove any other memory modules installed in your computer.
