Removing the battery
- Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
- Remove the base cover.
- To remove the battery:
- Disconnect the battery cable from the connector on the system board [1].
- Loosen the M2.5x5 captive screws that secure the battery to the [2].
- Lift the battery away from the computer [3].
