Enabling User Authentication Through An LDAP Database

  1. Select Cluster Management > Authentication > Identity Management Database. The Identity Management Database page is displayed.
  2. Select Users and groups are defined in an LDAP database .
  3. In LDAP server, enter the name or IP address of the LDAP server.
  4. In Base DN, enter the base DN (distinguishable name) that you want to use for authentication purposes. The Base DN (Distinguishable Name) is a unique LDAP string representing the domain to use for authentication. It is usually in the format:

    dc=domain

    dc=com

  5. Click Save Changes.
