When connecting the storage enclosure to a Dell PowerEdge server, the server must have a supported SAS HBA installed. See the Dell Storage PowerTools Server Hardware Manager Support Matrix for information about supported SAS HBAs. If the host is connected to the storage enclosure by using multiple paths (two or more SAS connections), the host must have multipath configured.
