Passwords and special characters
When you use a password for PowerStore CLI commands, it is recommended that you add single quotation marks around the password. These single quotation marks ensure that the system can parse all special characters within the password.
The following example shows the password IsAnyone$Home56 used on the command line with quotation marks:
pstcli -d 10.10.220.100 -u admin -p 'IsAnyone$Home56' security_config show
