Using QoS with metro

When a metro volume or volume group is configured with a QoS policy, the policy is not replicated to the remote system. If you are using a metro configuration in which QoS is used, it is recommended to configure the same QoS policy on both sides of the Metro resource.

If a QoS policy is configured only on one side of the metro resource, a host may prefer certain paths for sending I/O. The same may occur when a QoS policy is configured on both sides of the metro resource but the QoS limits do not match.
