Each remote system can use different replication networks and ports that are defined in a replication network group. A remote system pair can use one or multiple replication network groups for replication data traffic. When you create a remote connection, a default replication network group is automatically created for the remote system pair. The default group includes all the networks that have a replication purpose. You can add, modify, and delete replication network groups according to your needs.
To add, modify, and delete replication network groups, select
Protection > Remote Systems. Select a remote system from the list and then select
More Actions > Manage Network Groups.
To view the details of the network groups configured for a remote system pair, select the name of the remote system from the
Remote Systems list (Protection > Remote Systems) to open the remote system
Properties window. The Connectivity tab displays detailed information about the replication data network that is based on the replication network group configuration.
