Replication of VMWare vVols
A vVol is a VMWare object that, at a basic level, equates to a disk associated with a VMWare virtual machine (VM). The VMWare administrator creates and manages vVols through the VMWare vSphere product.
This section contains an overview of the architecture of vVols and their implementation. It then shows how vVols can be replicated for disaster recovery purposes using SRDF/A.
