You can perform various actions to a service that is deployed.
The following table describes the specific tasks that you can perform from the
Service Actions
section on the

Redeploy a failed or canceled service. This button is visible only when a service is in a critical state.
Update Service Details
Update service definition.
Remove Service
Remove a service that is no longer required.
PowerFlex Manager supports two types of removal:
Delete Service: Deletes the deployment information and makes any required configuration changes for components that are associated with the service. The configuration changes include making destructive changes such as unconfiguring the nodes in the service and powering them down.
Remove Service: Removes deployment information but does not make any configuration changes to the deployed components.
Cancel
Cancel the service.
View All Settings
View the settings configured on the resources in a service for deployment.
For a
PowerFlex service, the
VMware Cluster section of the
Settings page shows the
PowerFlex Settings section, and the
Target PowerFlex Gateway should specify the gateway that is included with the service.
For a
PowerFlex service, the
Use Local Storage For Dell EMC PowerFlex property is set to
true within the
OS Settings section for any node included. This property is set to
true for the nodes in an existing
PowerFlex service deployment, and for the nodes in a new
PowerFlex service deployment.
Generate troubleshooting bundle
Generate a compressed file of logs to use for troubleshooting. The following logs are included:
PowerFlex Manager application
Alert connector
PowerFlex Gateway
iDRAC life cycle
Dell EMC Powerswitch switch
Cisco Nexus switch
VMware ESXi
CloudLink Center
Enter Service Mode
Put nodes in service mode so that maintenance operations can be performed.
Exit Service Mode
Take nodes out of service mode.
View Compliance Report
View the software or firmware compliance report.
Reconfigure MDM Roles
Change the
MDM role for a node in a
PowerFlex cluster. For example, if you add a node to the cluster, you might want to switch the
MDM role from another node to the new node.
