Monitor a service

You can monitor the status of services from the Dashboard or from the Services page.

The following table describes the states that might appear for a service:

Icon Service state Description
This image shows the Healthy state.Healthy The service was deployed successfully, and the resources are firmware compliant and healthy.
This image shows the Warning state.Warning One or more resources in the service require corrective action. This state does not affect the overall system health.
This image shows the Error state.Critical Service deployment failed due to some issues.
Pending Service deployment is scheduled for a later time or date.
This image shows the In Progress state.In Progress Service deployment is in progress.
Canceled Service deployment is canceled.
Incomplete The service is not fully functional because it has no associated volumes. Click Add Resources to add volumes.
Service Mode The service has been placed in service mode because one of the nodes within the service was put into service mode.
Lifecycle Mode The service supports health and compliance monitoring, service mode, and non-disruptive upgrades. All other service operations are blocked. Lifecycle mode controls the operations that can be performed for configurations that have limited support.
Managed Mode The service supports health and compliance monitoring, non-disruptive upgrades, automated resource addition, and automated resource replacement features.

On the Services page, you can view services in a particular state by selecting a state from the Filter By drop-down list.

Click a particular service to view more details, including cluster information, PowerFlex gateways, CloudLink details, storage volumes, and physical nodes. You can also view the overall service health, health of resources, resource compliance status, and deployment state.
