Dell EMC PowerFlex Rack Using PowerFlex Manager
Managed mode
PowerFlex Manager managed mode provides all the functionality of alerting mode.
It also provides the following functions:
- Deployment and configuration of PowerFlex nodes, switches, operating system provisioning, virtualization, PowerFlex storage, and CloudLink encryption
- Maintenance, including drive servicing, service mode, port views, and the ability to take over management of previously deployed PowerFlex rack environments
- Upgrade of PowerFlex node BIOS and firmware, PowerFlex, VMware ESXi, CloudLink Center and agents
- Expansion, including adding volumes, PowerFlex nodes, and switches to an existing environment
