Alerting mode

A PowerFlex Manager deployment is in alerting mode if there are no services. Alerting mode provides a number of functions.

  • Supports discovery and inventory of system components (PowerFlex nodes, switches, VMware vCenter, CloudLink Center, and PowerFlex Gateway)
  • Provides performance metrics for PowerFlex nodes, switches, and PowerFlex
  • Monitors system component health status
  • Indicates compliance status
  • Sends alerts to Secure Remote Services and configures node iDRAC to send alerts to PowerFlex Manager
