Verifying a VLAN configuration
Verify the VLAN as part of adding a VLAN to the production network.
Steps
- Create a VM on PowerFlex compute-only node or PowerFlex hyperconverged node.
- Assign the newly created distributed port group to the VM.
- Configure an IP address, mask, and gateway on the VM that corresponds to the new VLAN.
- Ping the gateway from the VM.
- After you have successfully pinged the gateway from the VM, delete the VM.
