Upgrade CloudLink Center

PowerFlex Manager upgrades the CloudLink Center version of the deployed service. Then, you must upgrade any CloudLink Agent that is not running the same version as the CloudLink Center to the same version as the CloudLink Center.

About this task

After the CloudLink Center upgrade completes successfully, the PowerFlex nodes require additional maintenance because the CloudLink Agent is not in compliance with the new version for the service. In this case, you need to update any services that are non-compliant from the Services page.

PowerFlex Manager does not allow you to downgrade the CloudLink Center.

Prerequisites

The following condition must be met before you upgrade to CloudLink version 7.0.1.x:
  • If you are using version 7.0.x and its patches, you must first upgrade to version 7.1.

Steps

  1. Log in to PowerFlex Manager.
  2. Go to the Resources tab and select All Resources, and then select a CloudLink Center to upgrade.
  3. Click Update Resources.
  4. Choose Allow PowerFlex Manager to perform firmware and software updates now or Schedule firmware and software updates.
  5. Click Apply.
  6. Go to the Services page to update any services that are not in compliance with the new version of the CloudLink Center.
