Update resource inventory

Use this procedure to run inventory to incorporate external changes that are made to resource data outside of PowerFlex Manager.

About this task

NOTE:Run inventory to incorporate external changes that are made to resource data outside of PowerFlex Manager. After running the inventory to incorporate these changes, you can update the details on any service that must include the new resource data.

Administrators and standard users can run the inventory on any resources. Standard users can run the inventory only on resources that are part of a node pool for which they have permission.

Steps

  1. Log in to PowerFlex Manager.
  2. On the menu bar, click Resources.
  3. On the Resources page, click the All Resources tab.
  4. From the list of resources, select the check box next to the resources that you want to inventory.
  5. Click Run Inventory.

Next steps

See the PowerFlex Manager logs, go to Settings > Logs to view the start time and end time of the resource inventory operation.
