Update ONIE using an existing ONIE and TFTP
Use this procedure to update ONIE with an existing installation using a TFTP server.
Steps

Download the ONIE software from
support.dell.com and place it on the TFTP server.
NOTE:In this example, the file name is onie-updater-x86_64-dellemc_s5200_c3538-r0.3.40.1.1-6.
- Reload the switch.
- From the GRUB menu, select ONIE and then ONIE: Update ONIE.
- From the CLI, enter onie-self-update tftp://TFTP IP/onie-updater-x86_64-dellemc_s5200_c3538-r0.3.40.1.1-6 . Once ONIE is updated, the switch reboots into the active operating system partition.
- Enter ONIE:/ # onie-sysinfo -v to verify the version.
