NOTE:Under Server Information, review the System Host Name and verify that you have connected to the correct hostname.
  2. Select Maintenance > System Update > Manual Update and click Choose File.
  3. Go to the Intelligent Catalog folder /shares/xxxxx and select the component update file. The components to update include:
    • iDRAC service module
    • Dell BIOS
    • Dell BOSS controller
    • Dell iDRAC/Lifecycle controller
    • Dell Intel X550/X540/i350
    • Dell Mellanox ConnectX-4 LX, ConnectX-5 EN, or Broadcom NetXtreme firmware
    • Dell PERC H740P, HBA 355 or H755P controllers
  4. Click Upload.
  5. Select the firmware that you uploaded and click Install Next Reboot.
CAUTION:Do NOT click Install and Reboot, as it could cause a system outage.
NOTE:The installation will be in the job queue for the next reboot. Click Job Queue from the prompted information message to monitor the progress for the installation.
