Remove an existing PowerFlex hyperconverged service from PowerFlex Manager
Remove an existing PowerFlex hyperconverged service from PowerFlex Manager to install replication components.
About this task
It is important to remove a service, to add a service back to PowerFlex Manager after replication components are installed. Hyperconverged services must be removed at both the source and destination sites only if both are hyperconverged, else do it only on one site.
Steps
- Log in to PowerFlex Manager.
- On the menu bar, click Services.
- On the Services page, click the service and in the right pane, click View Details.
- On the Service Details page, in the right pane, under Service Actions, click Remove Service.
- In the Remove Service dialog box, select Remove Service.
- Select Leave nodes in PowerFlex Manager inventory and set the state to Managed.
- Click Remove.
