Mapping remote consistency groups to the storage data clients (SDC)

Use this procedure to designate which SDCs can access the remote consistency groups (RCGs) from the target volumes.

1. From the PowerFlex GUI, in the left pane, click Protection > RCGs.
2. In the right pane, click the relevant RCG check box and click Mapping > Map.
3. In the Map RCG Target Volumes dialog box, click the relevant SDC check box, and click Map.
4. In the Mappings section of the dialog box, select the volume check box and select the access mode.
   NOTE:Read Access mode applies to all platforms, except Windows clusters, which require the No Access mode.
5. In the Map RCG Target Volumes dialog box, click Map RCG Target Volumes.
6. Click Apply.
7. Verify that the operation completed successfully and click Dismiss.
