Deploy and configure the PowerFlex GUI presentation server

Use this procedure to deploy and configure the PowerFlex GUI presentation server using PowerFlex Manager.

1. From the sample templates, clone the Management - Presentation Server template.
2. On the Template Information page, provide the template name, template category, template description, firmware and software compliance, and who has access to the service deployed from this template.
3. On the Additional Settings page, under Network Settings, select the network that is created for PowerFlex management. Under PowerFlex Presentation Server Settings select the presentation credential created for the presentation server. Under Cluster Settings, select the VMware vCenter where you want to deploy the presentation server.
4. Click Finish.
5. After creating the template, click Template, select the presentation server template and click Edit.
6. Edit both PowerFlex Presentation Server and VMware Cluster components, select the required field, and then click Save.
7. Click Publish Template.
8. Deploy the service:
   1. On the menu bar, click Templates > Deploy New Service.
   2. Provide the name of the service to be deployed and click Next.
   3. On the Deployment Settings page, configure the required settings and click Next.
   4. Select Deploy Now and click Next.
   5. Review the Summary page and click Finish.
9. Once deployed, access the presentation server using https://Presentation_Server_IP_Address:8443/.
   NOTE: In PowerFlex Manager 3.7, the presentation server is auto discovered on the Resource page after the successful deployment. For PowerFlex Manager 3.6 or prior, the presentation server is not auto discovered and is not available on the Resource page.
10. To link the presentation server to PowerFlex, open a browser and enter https://Presentation_Server_IP_Address:8443/ for the log in screen. Complete the one-time setup wizard. Once complete, the link goes directly to the log in screen. Do the following:
    1. Enter the IP address or hostname of the MDM server and click Next.
    2. Click Agree to approve the certificates.
    3. Enter the username and password of the primary MDM.
