Change the SVM CPU clock reservation

Use this task to change the SVM CPU clock reservation and CPU shares on VMware vCenter.

1. Log in to the VMware vCenter with administrator credentials.
2. Right-click the SVM and select Edit Settings.
3. Expand CPU.
4. Select Reservation and enter the value in GHz.
5. Select Shares and select High from the menu.

   Reservation = (SVM Core count /2 ) x (the ghz of the underlying CPU)
