Adding a non-root user to VMware ESXi

1. Log in to VMware ESXi UI (paste the IP in browser and access it using root user).
2. Go to Manage > Security & Users > Users
3. Click Add user.
4. Provide username and password.
5. Confirm password and click Add.
6. Go to Host > Actions > Permissions.
7. Click Add User and select the user you created from the drop down menu.
8. Select administrator in the second menu and click Add user.
   Once user is added, you will be able to see the user with admin role.
9. Verify the login with new user.
