Enable or disable SSH on the VMware ESXi host dynamically
Use this procedure to enable or disable SSH on the VMware ESXi host dynamically.
About this task
- PowerFlex Manager disables the SSH service from the backend after the hyperconverged or compute-only resource group deployment is complete.
- Manually enable the SSH service whenever it is required.
- Disable SSH after activity is completed on the PowerFlex node.
Steps
- Log in to the iDRAC virtual console.
- Provide the VMware ESXi credentials.
- Click Troubleshooting Options and complete the operation for enabling or disabling SSH.
