Change the Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller 9 (iDRAC9) password
Use the iDRAC web console to change the root password.
Steps
- Open a web browser and type: http://<ip_address_of_iDRAC> .
- Log in as root.
- Expand iDRAC Settings.
- Click .

User ID 2 and click
Edit.
ID 2 is the root user.

Under
User Configuration, in the
User Account Settings section, change the password.
- In the Password box, enter the new password.
- In the Confirm Password box, re-enter the new password.
- Click Save.
