Table 1. Front panel features and indicatorsItem 1 are the diagnostic indicators. The diagnostic indicators display error status during system startup. Item 2 is the power-on indicator or power button that glows when the system power is on. The power button controls the power supply output to the system. Note that on ACPI-compliant operating systems, turning off the system by using the power button causes the system to perform a graceful shutdown before power to the system is turned off. Item 3 is the optical drive that has one optional SATA DVD-ROM drive or DVD+/-RW drive. Item 4 is a USB connector that allows you to connect USB devices to the system. This port is USB 3.0 compliant. Item 5 is a USB connector that allows you to connect USB devices to the system. The port is USB 2.0-compliant.
