Installing the drive backplane
Prerequisites
Steps
- Use the hooks on the system as guides to align the drive backplane.
- Lower the drive backplane until the release tabs snap into place.

Next steps
- Connect all the cables to the backplane.
- Install all the drives.
- Install the backplane cover.
- Install the cooling fan assembly.
- Install the air shroud.
- Follow the procedure listed in After working inside your system.
