Installing a 3.5 inch drive into the 3.5 inch drive carrier
Prerequisites
CAUTION Mixing drives from previous generations of PowerEdge
servers is not supported.
Steps
- Align the tabs on the drive carrier with the slots on the drive.
- Pull the edges of the carrier to fit the drive.
- Lower the drive onto the drive carrier to secure it.
