Table 1. Features available on the front of the systemItem 1 is the left control panel, contains system health and system ID, status LED, and optional iDRAC Quick Sync 2 (wireless). Item 2 is Drive slots (3.5 inch or 2.5 inch drives), enables you to install drives that are supported on your system. Item 3 is the right control panel, contains the power button, two USB 2.0 ports, iDRAC Direct port, iDRAC Direct LED, and VGA port. Item 4 is the information tag, contains system information like Service Tag, NIC, MAC address, and so on. Item 5 is the optical drive (optional), enables you to retrieve and store data on optical discs such as compact discs (CD) and digital versatile discs (DVD). Item 6 is USB 3.0 port (optional). The USB port is a 9-pin, 3.0-compliant. This port enables you to connect USB devices to the system.
