Item 2 is the hard drive, enables you to install drives that are supported in your system. Item 3 is the power supply unit, supplies power to the components of the system. Item 4 is the NIC port, integrated on the network daughter card (NDC) provides network connectivity. Item 5 is the USB 3.0 port, enables you to connect USB devices to the system. Item 6 is the video port, enables you to connect a display device to the system. Item 7 is the serial port, enables you to connect serial device to the system. Item 8 is the iDRAC 9 Enterprise port, enables you to remotely access iDRAC. Item 9 is the CMA power port, enables you to connect to cable management arm LED. Item 10 is the System identification button, helps in identifying the system in a rack.

10 System identification button System identification icon

The System Identification (ID) button is available on the front and back of the systems. Press the button to identify a system in a rack by turning on the system ID button. You can also use the system ID button to reset iDRAC and to access BIOS using the step through mode.
